A Fun Day Off from School

The kids had the day off from school, for some type of teacher in-service/technology training day. It was a beautiful fall day, so the plan was to get a few things done around the house and then do something fun in the afternoon. As the morning progressed, the plan was modified and we ended up meeting Grandma at Schwallier's Country Basket on Alpine for an afternoon of fun.

After the orchard, we went out for lunch with Grandma.
It was such a gorgeous fall day, that I stopped at a township park on Alpine and let the kids play for about a half hour or so.
It was a wonderful day.
